Is it fair, is it morally sound (whatever the law may say) that in our world of consumption, quick obsolescence and passing fashions the copyright should hold for so long? Let's say the author is 30 years old when he makes his masterpiece, he lives till 80, and then you start counting 50 years before the copyright expires.That the "owner" be forever entitled to "legitimate earnings" begs the question here: is he? This is an old philosophical debate that will never really end. It may not be criminal in your country, but who can afford a whole court case to fight it out. There should be no legal issues what so ever in using "Popcorn Time" anywhere because you are not downloading anything, just watching.
